Doncaster man due in court charged with breaching Covid lockdown at London demo

A Doncaster man is due to appear in court today, charged with breaking the UK’s coronavirus lockdown rules.

Sticker seller Phillip Anthony Hartley was among a number of protesters arrested in London’s Hyde Park on May 16 during the first UK lockdown.

Hartley, 37, of Christ Church Road, who also uses the name Phillip L’Estrange, is charged with offences under the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020.

He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London this morning,
