Doncaster doughnut shop's appeal after thieves steal slush machine

Bosses at a Doncaster doughnut shop have appealed for help after thieves stole a slush making machine.

The Donut Hut at Edenthorpe was targeted by thieves on Friday night and a post on the shop's Facebook page said: “Unfortunately someone has broken into our hut last night and stolen our slush machine.

“If anyone has any information about this matter please let us know. Ideally we would just like the machine returned, no names need to be mentioned.”

The shop has been serving up takeaway doughnut treats during the lockdown, observing rules on social distancing.

Customers reacted with anger to the news.

Rachel Louise posted: “Absolutely disgusting!!! People are just horrendous.”

While Maria Barry wrote: “Can’t have **** all nowadays with the thieving scum about, I hope you get it back.”
