A post on the Wheatley Community Group Facebook page says the disturbing letter was found tied to a tree in a field near Leger Way, next to a pile of rancid fish, vegetables, chicken and meat.

The person who left the Facebook post suggested that the food may have been poisoned and had been left there in order to tempt dogs to eat it.
