Doncaster crime round-up - burglars take ignition keys and car

The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police on August 6. Anyone with information should call 101.

Dunscroft: Burglars who broke the lock of a patio door at a house in Inverness Road on Tuesday night stole a mobile phone and a cigarette lighter.

Bessacarr: Intruders got in through an insecure patio door at a house in Stoops Lane in the early hours of Wednesday and took the ignition keys to a Honda CRV which was also stolen from the drive.

Auckley: Burglars forced the door of a garage at a property in Spey Drive just after midnight today and stole two pedal cycles.

Conisbrough: Raiders got into an insecure garage on Moathouse Way late on Tuesday night and stole bottles of alcohol and a quad bike.

Town centre: A £300 mountain bike was stolen from outside a doctor’s surgery on Thorne Road around 2pm yesterday.

Thorne: A pedal cycle was stolen from outside the Bullseye auto spares shop on The Green around 11.30am yesterday while the owner was in the shop.

Town centre: A motorcycle parked outside a house in Allerton Street was stolen overnight on Tuesday.

Bessacarr: Two ornamental shrubs in containers were stolen from outside a house in Stoops Lane on Tuesday night and four garden pots were taken from the garden of a house in The Avenue.
