Disqualified driver "attempted the land speed record in a Kia Cee'd" in Doncaster

Police from the South Yorkshire Police Operational Support team reported a disaqualfied driver caught speeding by the same camera TEN TIMES!

This morning, Wednesday, June 9, officers caught up with the driver of this Kia in Doncaster.

The driver was disqualified earlier in the year for an accumulation of points. A spokesman said: “Now usually this would mean getting rid of your car for a while until your disqualification has ended and then trying your best to drive a bit better.

"The driver hadn't quite got the message though and decided that attempting the land speed record in a Kia Cee'd on more than ten occasions through the same speed camera was a better idea. And then, in a most heinous act of bad admin, failed to answer the requests to identify the driver.

“This kind of draws our attention to you when really you dont want it.”

The car was sent to the pound and the driver will be sent to court.
