Detectives working on a huge murder probe in Doncaster have quizzed their eleventh suspect.

A 22-year-old man arrested yesterday took the number of suspects arrested over the death of Lewis Williams to 11 since he was shot dead on Monday, January 11.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in police custody last night.

Despite the efforts of medics at the scene, he could not be saved.

Of the 11 suspects questioned over the death, six have been charged with murder.

Only two can be named – Jack Parkes, 20, of Arnold Crescent, Doncaster and Ryan Nisbet of Springwood Road, Barnsley.

Two of the other suspects are 17, one is 16 and one is 15.

They are all remanded in custody ahead of their next court dates.
