Records for Doncaster Magistrates’ Court show that Timothy Green was caught driving on Sandringham Road, Doncaster, while disqualified on March 9 this year.
Green, 50, of Castle Hill, Eckington, Sheffield, admitted driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance when he appeared before magistrates on Wednesday, September 2.
Magistrates placed Green on an electronically monitored curfew for the next 12 weeks, meaning he must remain indoors at his home address from 8pm until 4am until November 25.
Green was banned from driving for a further six months on top of his original disqualification.
He must also pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £90 victim surcharge and he will remain disqualified until he has re-sat a driving test.
No separate penalty was imposed by magistrates for the offence of driving without insurance, court records state.
