Cops seize ‘superbike’ doing laps of Doncaster estate

South Yorkshire police off road team seized this motorcycle after they collared a nuisance biker in the Askern area.

A force spokesman said; “We responded to reports of a superbike doing laps of the estate near Park Road Askern. The 'superbike' turned out to be a Honda CBR125. The bike was seized and the rider dealt with for motoring offences, including not wearing a helmet.”

The team have been back in Doncaster covering Bentley, Askern, Highfields and Woodlands, whilst also focusing on Marshgate prison.

The spokesman added: We are committed to working with the prison service to prevent throw overs of drugs and other contraband.

“We will stop engage and take positive action where required. This builds up the intelligence picture around prisons in South Yorkshire and deters criminal activities.

“Late into the afternoon we were called to a high risk missing person in their 80s. The lady had alzheimer's and had gone wondering. Thankfully we dropped on her and returned her to her family.”
