POLICE have launched a search to trace a man with connections to Doncaster who has gone missing from home.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Dennis Froud.
The 59-year-old was last seen by a friend at his home in Ranskill near Retford at about 4pm on Friday.
He was due to move from Nottinghamshire after telling friends he had got a job at a hotel in Manchester, but when he did not turn up for his lift to the train station fears for his safety were raised.
Mr Froud is described as a 5ft 10ins tall, white, slim, with short, straight brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and jeans.
Along with Manchester, Mr Froud also has links with Doncaster and Sheffield.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
