Car set alight in arson attack in Doncaster

A car found burning in Doncaster was deliberately set alight, firefighters believe.

They were called out to the blaze on Green Lane, Wadworth, at 7.40pm last night.

The found a Vauxhall Zafira engulfed in flames.

Firefighters also tackled a hedge fire on Church Street, Edlington , which they believe was started deliberately.

And felled trees and rubbish were set alight on Drake Head Lane, Conisbrough.

A grass fire also broke out on East Lane, Stainforth, that night but they do not know what started it.

A fire on an allotment on Cawdor Street, Bentley, is believed to have been caused by a spark from a brazier fire earlier in the day.
