A milestone moment for four South Yorkshire police dogs should have criminals in Gibraltar barking mad as they are the first in 20 years to be assigned to the rock.

They have crossed the seas to form Royal Gibraltar Police’s (RGP’s) dog section. The four dogs provided to RGP from SYP, are Police Dog Prince (pictured in training) Police Dog Major, Police Dog Zulu and Police Dog Tara. The dogs were bred at the Dog Support Unit as part of the accredited puppy breeding scheme established by Dog Training Manager Harry Morton.
