A man is being sought by police following a sexual assault in Wath.
Jamie Clarke, 28, from Rotherham is wanted by South Yorkshire Police in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault in Wath.
The police has conducted a variety of operations and activities to locate Clarke and are now seeking the assistance of the public to help trace him.
Detective Inspector Delphine Waring said: “Officers believe this was an isolated incident, however have increased patrols in the area.
“It is believed he has connections in the Rotherham area.
“We would also like to appeal directly to Jamie Clarke to come forward to assist with our enquiries.”
Anyone who sees him is asked not approach him, but call police on 999.
Anyone who believes they may have information on his whereabouts is asked to call the non-emergency number, 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 924 of 14 October.
