RESTRICTIONS are set to be imposed on a country lane in a bid to reduce crime and fly-tipping.
Doncaster Council is proposing to install three gates in Common Lane, Auckley.
The authority said the move would “technically remove the general right of way” but there was “no intention to exclude law-abiding members of the public.”
However, some residents are unhappy about the decision and feel that it would restrict their access.
A public consultation period ends on Monday, March 14. A final decision will then be made.
