Attempted theft from lorries at Doncaster depot

Police are appealing for information after an attempted theft last night from lorries parked up in Doncaster.

Four curtain-sided lorries were parked close to the DHL depot in Stripe Road when they were broken into between 8pm on Monday, October 21 and 12.30am on Tuesday, October 22.

It is thought that the offenders were interrupted, and made off on a quad bike.

A Ford Transit van, which had been stolen from the Woodsetts area of Rotherham on Saturday, October 5, was found abandoned at the scene.
