The following people appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with the following offences...

rossington: A metal thief is £85 out of pocket after stealing a tenner’s worth of cable. Jack Wilkinson, 22, of Hyperion Way, admitted taking the cable on June 4. Wilkinson was also given a conditional discharge for 12 months.

conisbrough: Threatening to smash windows has resulted in a Doncaster man being made the subject of a community order. Ronald William Taylor, 57, of The Oval admitted making the threat on July 11 and was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs as a result. As part of his punishment he must abide by a four week curfew.

mexborough: Assaulting a woman resulted in a man receiving an £810 court bill. Paul Booth of Addison Road, was made the subject of a community order and must carry out 90 hours unpaid work after admitting the offence that happened on May 6. The 26-year-old also admitted causing damage to the windscreen and front door of a car causing £500 of damage on the same day.

kirk SANDAL: Cannabis possession landed Lewis David Robert Brown, 20, of Dentons Green Lane, with a £173 court bill. He admitted having £10 of the class B drug on June 30.

hyde PARK: Stealing alcohol has cost a thief just over £170. Steven Hudson, 50, of St James’ Street, admitted taking £29.94 of vodka from Asda on July 1.

skellow: A drink driver has received ten penalty points and fined £185. Cathy Stevens, 34, of Crossfield Lane, admitted being over the limit while driving on June 25. She was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.

mexborough: A man has been tagged after pleading guilty to assault. Dean Scott Dooney, 21, of Arnold Crescent, received a 12 week curfew. Dooney admitted beating another man on May 5. He was also ordered to pay £335 in costs and fines.,
