Concern growing for missing Doncaster teenager who 'can't speak English'

Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing Doncaster teenage who has not been seen for nearly a week.

Hong Quang Nguyen, aged 16, was last seen in Doncaster town centre on Thursday, March 9, at 2pm. He was wearing a black jacket, white-grey shirt, blue jeans and blue Adidas trainers.

Doncaster Police Superintendent Colin McFarlane is now urging anyone who has seen or heard from him to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 785 of 9 March 2017.

Supt McFarlane, said: “As time goes on we are becoming increasingly concerned for Hong’s welfare.

“Hong doesn’t speak English and was last seen in Doncaster town centre at about 2pm. Since he was reported missing, officers have conducted numerous enquiries in the area, however we also believe he may have travelled outside of South Yorkshire.

“We know he has connections in Scotland and would ask anyone who thinks they may have seen Hong to contact us so we can ensure his wellbeing.”
