Charges dropped after Westwoodside shooting
Charges have been dropped against a Doncaster man who was set to go on trial on Monday following a shooting in Westwoodside.
Robert Watson was due to appear in Hull Crown Court on Monday after being charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life following the disturbance in a the North Lincolnshire village in July.
But the charge has now been dropped against Mr Watson, aged 26, of Zetland Road, Doncaster.
Armed police descended on Westwoodside on Tuesday July 7 after gunshots were fired.
