A TRAIN company is advising customers that there will be a number of changes to its timetable from tomorrow.
First TransPennine Express (FTPE), which operates services across the north of England , says the changes will give passengers improved choice and provide additional capacity.
Posters and revised timetables have been issued to stations and customers are being encouraged to check the details of their journeys as departure and arrival times might have altered slightly.
Services affected include FTPE’s south route, connecting Manchester Airport with Sheffield, Doncaster and Cleethorpes .
Weekdays trains from Cleethorpes, calling at Grimsby, Barnetby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Sheffield will depart two minutes earlier on weekdays from Monday. These services will arrive into Doncaster at 38 minutes past the hour providing a seven minute connection on to London and Leeds bound services.
Services for Cleethorpes will leave Doncaster five minutes earlier than at present.
The amended timetable will be in operation from Sunday, May 22, until Sunday, December 10.
