CCTV: Pictures released after armed robbery at newsagents

Officers investigating an armed robbery at a Grimsby newsagents have today released CCTV stills in the hope of tracing the offender.

The incident happened at newsagents in Carr Lane at 7am on Friday, March 25, when a man came into the shop and threatened the female cashier with what she believed to be a knife.

He escaped with a quantity of cash from the till. The cashier was left shaken but unharmed.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 30 years old, around 5ft 11in tall, wearing a navy blue fleece top and navy bottoms.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Humberside Police on 101, quoting log number 78 of 25/03/2016.
