NEW funding is available for community projects that help the police do their work.
South Yorkshire Police Authority’s Community Grants Scheme invites applications for grants from a pot of £190,000.
The funding has been spared amid the current budget cuts, and grants of £30,000 to £50,000 are now up for grabs.
Projects must share police priorities such as improving public confidence, tackling crime or enhancing community safety.
Applications must be made by April 27. Download forms from www.southyorks.gov.uk
