TATA Steel has launched a search to find 17 people to join its apprenticeship scheme in South Yorkshire.
The company is seeking 11 engineering, five technical and one administrative apprentice to start in September.
The engineering apprentices will work across Rotherham sites with training in a brand new centre at Stocksbridge. They will complete a three-year specialist programme and will attend Rotherham College to work towards BTEC and NVQ level three qualifications.
Five technical apprentices will also complete three years, working across technical departments in Rotherham and Stocksbridge with study for BTEC and NVQ level three qualifications at Rotherham College. The salary is £9,516 in the first year, rising to £10,052 in year two, and £12,450 the year after. Requirements are three GCSE’s at grade C or above in English, maths and science, with a closing date for applications of March 31.
