Future housing and business needs in North Lincolnshire are the subject of a consultation taking place with businesses and residents.
North Lincolnshire Council is preparing a new Local Plan which will identify needs and opportunities over the next 19 years in relation to housing, business growth and infrastructure.
Views are being sought on the draft plan. It sets out the vision and objectives for the area – acting as a guide for future development.
Councillor Rob Waltham, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council said:“We want to find out how residents and businesses would like North Lincolnshire to develop. It’s your local area so tell us what you think its future should look like.”
Residents can also submit sites they think should be developed for consideration.
The consultation will run until Monday March 12 and you can have your say online or by visiting one of the consultation events.
Consultation events include Monday 2pm to 6pm at Ulceby Village Hall, Tuesday 3pm to 6.45pm at Crowle Community Resource Centre and Wednesday 3pm to 7pm at Bottesford Pavilion.
The deadline for online comments is Monday February 26 on the draft plan and Monday 12 March to submit sites for development.
