TALENTED teenager George Bentham - who services the cars of his friends and family for free - has been named SEAT Apprentice of the Year.
The 19-year-old was “totally shocked” when he heard he had won the coveted prize after beating off fierce competition.
George, a service technician at Stoneacre SEAT in Doncaster, competed against trainees from the brand’s 132-strong national franchised dealer network to scoop the top prize.
“I am delighted to have been named as Apprentice of the Year and realise how lucky I am to have the job I do,” he said. “What can be better than to work on cars for a living when it’s something I love doing in my free time?.”
The former Mexborough School pupil received a framed certificate, a voucher for £500 worth of tools and a tool box.
