More than 1000 businesses and individuals descended on Doncaster for a major networking event.
Around 200 exhibitors from across the Sheffield City Region gathered at Doncaster Racecourse last Thursday for the annual Doncaster Business Showcase.
The one-day business forum is organised by Business Doncaster and provided an opportunity for businesses and individuals to get together, network and receive free expert help and advice from a range of expert business advisors.
Doncaster mayor Ros Jones said: “The Business Doncaster Showcase highlights what Doncaster Business is all about and has proven to be a fantastic success.
“Walking around and speaking to exhibitors, there was a real buzz to the day, proving that Doncaster is a great place to do business.
“The event provided an excellent platform to network and meet new business contacts.”
Councillor Bill Mordue, Doncaster Council’s cabinet member for business, skills, tourism and culture, said: “The Business Showcase is a fantastic opportunity for any business to come together and show what great business talent, expertise and enthusiasm we have in Doncaster.”
The event first launched in 2008 and has increased in both exhibitor and visitor numbers every year since.
