A JOBS fair will highlight a major initiative to tackle youth unemployment and give firms a chance promote their vacancies.
The Governemnt’s £1 billion Youth Contract is due to provide almost half a million new opportunities for 18-24-year-olds, including apprenticeships and voluntary work experience placements.
The benefits for employers include wage incentives and apprentice grants and they are being urged to consider the advantages and get involved.
The event on February 21 takes place at the Doncaster College Hub between 10am and 3pm when businesses will be able to publicise the opportunities they have to offer to job-hunters on the day.
Any employer who wants to promote vacancies or book a stand should email Hazel Higginbottom at: email@example.com
