BT to create apprenticeships in Sheffield and Doncaster

BT is to create around 30 new apprenticeship and graduate jobs in Yorkshire.

Apprentices will be recruited in Sheffield, Doncaster, Bradford, Northallerton and Leeds.

They will be employed in a range of roles including cyber security, software development, research and innovation.

Gavin Patterson, chief executive of BT, said: “Technology is changing all the time and companies need to support and train young people to develop the skills required for successful careers in essential areas such as science, engineering and IT.
