BREAKING: Seven police cars called to search for '˜high risk' missing person

Seven police cars have been called to a Cantley street this afternoon.

An eye-witness sent us this video, which shows seven police cars and a police van parked outside the Bechers Brook pub, Ascot Avenue, close to the entrance of Cantley Park.

The footage also shows a helicopter in the area.

The officers were called to the area around Bechers Brook pub on Ascot Avenue to find a ‘high risk’ missing person.

The precise reason that the person is high risk is not yet known, although in usual cases it could mean a vulnerable or elderly adult.

As of 7.40pm the person is still believed to be missing, but further details have not yet been shared by South Yorkshire Police.
