Magdelana has not been seen for 14 days since leaving her family’s home in Doncaster.

Speaking at a press conference last week, officers said Magdelana, who arrived from Poland to visit family on September 24 and was last seen on September 30, had a history of hitch-hiking but always kept in touch with family.

Doncaster Superintendent Neil Thomas said there had been no confirmed sightings and a national appeal had been launched after her disappearance.

He said: “Magdelana has got a history of travelling, she likes sightseeing, she likes to hitch-hike but whenever she’s done that she’s kept in contact with her family.

“On this occasion, as we’ve had no contact with her since the 30th, we are concerned for her safety and would like people to come forward if they know where she is or if they have sighted her.

“We are working on the assumption that she has potentially left Doncaaster, whether that’s off her own bat, with help or coerced by someone else. We are not quite sure at the moment, so we’re keeping a fairly open mind on that.”

Supt Thomas said Magdelana’s family was ‘baffled’ by her disappearance and were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Magdelana was last seen at around 1pm on September 30 as she left her family’s home in Cookson Street, Doncaster. She had planned to go to the town centre.

Magdelana left home with just £10 in cash and without her phone or passport.

A dedicated team had been set up to work on the case. Anyone with information can call 101
