Beauty store Trending is sitting pretty with Doncaster Frenchgate Centre expansion

It's looking good for beauty store Trending as it is opening a larger store in Doncaster after a whirlwind period of success.

The all in one beauty store first opened in the Frenchgate Centre in November last year.

It has now undergone a major refurbishment to expand the store following eight months’ of booming business.

Jade Andrews, Trending brand manager, said: “Over the past eight months Trending’s popularity has rapidly grown, and with our extensive beauty treatments and product range we’re excited to be the central spot in Doncaster for all beauty needs.

“We’ve also recruited expert staff including a makeup artist to provide help in store for customers who need beauty advice as we’re passionate about educating people of all ages and encourage our customers test out makeup looks at our beauty bar in store.”

The expanded store is due to be officially unveiled on Saturday, July 2.

Customers are set to be treated to makeup demonstrations throughout the day in addition to the showcasing of a new beauty bar, nail bar and brow bar.

Trending’s new store will also feature over 1,000 products focused around the latest trends in beauty, hair, bath and gift products in addition to offering lash, brow, nail and beauty treatments.

This latest development comes after upmarket bakery Patisserie Valerie revealed it is opening a shop this month.

Taking a 1,900 sq ft unit, the long-standing chain patisserie will serve coffee and light meals, plus fancy pastries and cakes.

The launch joins an expanding food and beverage line up at Frenchgate that recently welcomed Ed’s Easy Diner and The Mallard.

This new addition also follows the opening of a new store by Australian stationary retailer Smiggle.
