ScreeningsÂ ofÂ The Witches and The Shining will be shownÂ in an atmospheric pop-up cinema, down in the woods of deepest, darkest Sheffield.
The Village Screen pop-up cinemaÂ brings theÂ spine-chillingÂ thrillersÂ to Sheffield's Kenwood Hall Hotel inÂ October half term.
Cinema goers are encouraged to don their best fancy dress (but also bring coats and blankets!) and immerse themselves in theÂ outdoor film experience;Â aÂ spooky film, seasonal food, live music and drinks all set to createÂ a memorable Halloween.
On October 31,Â the freaky but family friendly film, The Witches, willÂ hit the screen.
This Roald Dahl adaptationÂ seesÂ an orphanÂ stumbleÂ upon a secret witches' conventionÂ and uncover a plotÂ to turn all childrenÂ into mice. It's a horrible must-see!
OnÂ the eveningÂ ofÂ October 31Â it's the turnÂ of horrorÂ classicÂ The Shining.
This psychologicalÂ thrillerÂ starring Jack NicholsonÂ isÂ based onÂ Stephen King's novelÂ about aÂ family who move to anÂ eerie hotel to upkeep the building thatÂ isÂ closed for winter.Â The Shining is not for the faint hearted.
The wooded grounds of Kenwood Hall Hotel will provide aÂ perfect backdrop, with audience members on traditional deckchairs for addedÂ fun.
Ahead ofÂ eachÂ screening, there will be a live band performing, and HalloweenÂ decorations will adorn theÂ trees.Â Some of the North's finest street food vendorsÂ will be serving up fantastic autumnal grub and the hotelÂ bar will be openÂ throughout the evening.

For The Witches, doors open at 15:30, with the screening at 17:00.
The Shining opens at 19:15, with aÂ 20:45 screening. AÂ minimum age of 16 applies.
