The famed atmosphere of the Parisian jazz club scene will be magically recreated at Doncaster Conservative Club next month with a special performance from a Sheffield band.

On Thursday October 3, Sheffield based band The Djangonauts return to the venue, where they will deliver their own unique brand of swingin’ ‘gypsy jazz’ forever associated with the hugely influential first European Jazz Greats Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s ground breaking Quintet of the Hot Club of France.

The Djangonauts are fronted by fleet fingered lead and solo guitarist Chris Walker, who will be joined on stage by rhythm guitarist Phil Johnson, Piero Tucci on accordion and saxophones, Kevin Walker on double bass, plus special guest violinist Matt Holbourne and father and son guitar team Paul and Kevin Hill sitting in on several numbers.

The performance starts at 8.30pm and tickets cost £6 on the door.
