Awards for two Isle villages

PRESENTATIONS have taken place which saw two Isle villages receive top awards from the Campaign to Protect Rural England.

Belton took first place in the Large Village section (population 500 to 3,000) and Westwoodside also came out on top in the Best Kept Playground category.

The playground has had almost £200,000 invested in new play equipment and a Multi Use Games Area.

And Belton has gained more recognition for its well-maintained planters and flower displays.
