Arson attack leaves car and van ablaze in Doncaster street

An arson attack left a car and a van ablaze in a Doncaster village last night as another two vehicles in the borough were deliberately set alight.

Two firecrews from Doncaster fire station were sent to the scene after at 11.10pm, at Woodlea Grove, Armthorpe. Firefighters described the vehicles as ‘deliberately set on fire’. They spent more than an hour on the scene.

On Monday night, firecrews were called out to four separate incidents involving cars being set alight.
