Appeal after assault outside Doncaster pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 30-year-old man was seriously injured after an assault outside a Doncaster pub.

At around 12.30am on Sunday 5 June, it is reported that the 30-year-old man was outside Bar None in King Street, Thorne, when there was an altercation with a man.

The 30-year-old was reportedly assaulted, suffering serious injuries that required hospital treatment.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
