Around 300 people turned out for the annual West Butterwick Field Day which had plenty to keep people entertained.
Activities on the day included entertainment from the Grimsby Baptist Church with their ‘Puppet Power’ show as well as demonstrations from the All Stars taekwondo team.
People attending the day were also able to enjoy a titanic fun slide, hook-a-duck, daisy dinosaur slide, small bouncy castle, coconut shy, wack-a-frog, striker and splat-a-rat.
West Butterwick Parish Council secretary and treasurer, Bunty Harris helped to organise the event and said it was a great success.
She added: “It was very well attended, despite the rain showers half way through.”
“People had a lot of fun and spent well which was good to see. I’d like to thank all of the people who attended the field day, and everyone who helped out and gave their time!”
Refreshments were also available on the day, with a range of tasty treats on offer including cupcakes, crepes and barbequed burgers.
Youngsters attending the day got to take part in a fancy dress competition, races and games and were also given a free goody bag to take home.
