FIVE councillors have been nominated to form a committee which will monitor noise concerns at Robin Hood Airport.

The Robin Hood Airport Consultative Committee agreed to merge the Noise Monitoring and Community Committees to form the Noise Monitoring and Environment Sub-Committee.

Councillors Yvonne Woodcock, Barbara Hoyle, Tony Corden, Hilary McNamee and Pat Knight were all nominated as the town’s committee representatives.

They will report on environmental impacts and community concerns - making recommendations to the Airport Consultative Committee.
