Aftermath shows devastation as Doncaster club destroyed in blaze

Flames ripped through the Ali Baba Social Club in Nether Hall Road in the early hours of yesterday, with fire crews spending more than four hours tackling the blaze.
The building is now a charred shell after the blaze broke out at 5am yesterday.

Hide AdFive South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews were called out to the club – two from Doncaster station, with firefighters from Edlington, Adwick and Rossington also in attendance.
The fire was on the ground floor of the premises which have been a popular social club for a number of years.
A fire service spokesman said that no casualties had been reported at the scene and that crews had left the scene at about 9.30am.
The fire is currently under investigation to determine the cause.
