A broken down 'abnormal load' is causing major delays on a motorway in South Yorkshire this evening.

A lorry carrying a large vehicle has broken down on the A1M between junctions 34 at Blyth and 35 at Tickhill just outside Doncaster.

Highways England tweeted that one lane is closed and it is "expected to be some time before it can be cleared."
