A1M in Doncaster closed after lorry catches fire

The A1M in Doncaster was closed this morning after a lorry caught fire.

The blaze, on the southbound stretch between junctions 33 and 34, broke out at around 3.50am.

Firefighters from Edlington, Doncaster and Maltby dealt with the blaze.

The Highways Agency said delays which built up earlier have now eased.
