A year of lockdown in Doncaster: Empty streets, panic buying, rainbows and lost loved ones

Today marks the first anniversary of Doncaster going into coronavirus lockdown.

On March 23 last year, Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered the nation to stay at home as Covid-19 swept the globe.

Since then, our entire world has changed.

From mask wearing to home schooling, working from home to panic buying, vaccines and empty streets, the last 12 months have been difficult for us all, in so many different ways.

Here’s our lookback on 12 months of lockdown in Doncaster.
