A trio of sharp comedians at Cast Theatre Comedy Club in Doncaster

Nathan Caton delivers laidback, on-the-nose material.

Former Chortle Student Comedian of the Year as seen on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Soccer AM, Russell Howard’s Good News, Comedy Cuts and his own sketch show on Comedy Central (which earned him a Hotshot award from Broadcast magazine for his writing).

All this plus an acclaimed six-part Radio 4 show Can’t Tell Me Nothing. He’s instantly amenable, charismatic and an incredibly slick performer with a natural stage presence.

Scott Bennett is likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic.

In demand by many of the big clubs, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply written routines have been delighting audiences across the country. In 2013 and 2015 he was selected to perform in the prestigious Big Value showcase show for Just the Tonic at the Edinburgh fringe, the show has previously been a springboard to success for many household names including Jason Manford and Sarah Millican.

His debut hour stand up show “About a Roy: Stories about me dad” was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.

As well as receiving rave reviews, Scott was selected to perform an extract from the show as part of the famous Mervyn Stutter’s “Pick of the Fringe Showcase”. The show also received a Best New Show nomination at the Buxton Fringe Festival. English Comedian of the Year runner up, Comedy Cellar New Act of the Year and Old Speckled Hen Comedian of the Year.

Third in the trio of acts is Chris Cantrill – An old soul with a very youthful mind, Cantrill blends his surreal thoughts with a likeability that’s synonymous with Northern comedians – The Skinny

Tony Wright.

Compere for the evening is Elliot J Huntley. With a fabulous array of highly inventive tall-tales and gently twisted punchlines regarding relationships, fatherhood and hanging around low quality nightclubs in the grim hope of an extra curricular dalliance, Elliot’s comedic terrain is constantly entertaining. With his self-confessed oily superficial goodwill he manages to charm even the most stoic of audiences.
