A property has been damaged by gun shots fired in the early hours of this morning

Police ask for anyone with information on gun shots fired in Doncaster early this morning to get in touch.

South Yorkshire Police said: "We received a call at 00:50am today (29 March) for reports of gun shots fired at a property on Anelay Road in Balby, Doncaster.

"Upon arrival, officers found damage to the property consistent with that of a firearms discharge.

"No one suffered injuries and enquiries are on-going to locate those responsible.
