South Yorkshire Police said: "We received a call at 00:50am today (29 March) for reports of gun shots fired at a property on Anelay Road in Balby, Doncaster.

"Upon arrival, officers found damage to the property consistent with that of a firearms discharge.

"No one suffered injuries and enquiries are on-going to locate those responsible.

"A scene is currently in place while officers carry out their work.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 32 of 29 March 2021."
