It is part of the final phase of the 18 acre retail and industrial development at Quest Park, with the scheme set to be completed in January 2017.

The new 3.6 acre Marrtree Business Park site is being developed by Yorkshire property investor and developer Marrtree Investments, and will comprise 47,000 sq ft of trade counter units and warehousing.

Spread across five buildings on a riverside site, on the A630 Wheatley Hall Road, which is known as the main route for trade counter businesses in Doncaster, the scheme will include a total of 16 individual units ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.

The scheme follows Marrtree’s recent completion of a similar 20,000sq ft development at St James Business Park in Knaresborough.

The Marrtree group of companies, run by brothers William and George Marshall, has operated for over 60 years and is now based at Cardale Park in Harrogate.

William Marshall said: “We hope the Doncaster development will help address the shortage of quality space available in South Yorkshire for trade counter businesses. Thanks to rapidly improving transport links such as the new FARRRs link road between the M18 and the airport, the area is rapidly becoming seen as an excellent location to do business.”

He added: “We are already fielding a steady stream of enquiries from businesses looking for good quality warehousing in Doncaster.” Further information is available online at www.commercialpropertypartners.co.uk. website.
