15 cars involved in blaze at South Yorkshire car lot
Firefighters spent two hours tackling a blaze at a South Yorkshire car lot involving 15 cars.
Crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended the fire, on Wakefield Road, Barnsley, at around 8.45pm yesterday evening.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “When we got there, six or seven of the cars were fully alight. The others were partially damaged. We used two pumps to put out the flames and left between 10.30pm and 10.45pm.
An investigation in to the cause of the fire is now underway.
