Fun for all the family is on offer at a Summer fair on Saturday at The Centre at Cantley Community Library.
The event takes place 9.30am to 12 noon at the venue in Goodison Boulevard, Cantley and will feature a number of stalls including a tombola, cake stall, raffle, knit and natter items for sale, bottle tombola, books for sale and refreshments.

The annual Townfield Gala is returning to Doncaster on Sunday July 8 at and promises to be a fun filled community afternoon of entertainment. Attractions will include the a Yorkshire air ambulance landing, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue engines, Rascals castles , Alpacas , Fairground and a food court .
Families can also enjoy live music and Entertainment on stage, martial arts displays, over 60 craft, information and goods stalls and much more.
The annual Doncaster Mascot race will also take place so come along and cheer on your favourite.
All pitch fees raised will go directly to Doncaster & Bassetlaw Kidney Association.
The event takes place at Townfields, off Thorne Road 12pm to 5pm
Conisbrough music festival takes place Saturday July 7 at Miner’s Welfare. 11am
The Walled Gardens at Woodfield Park host a fair on Sunday July 8 11am to 4pm
MP Rosie Winterton is supporting a campaign by The Reading Agency to encourage all primary school children to take part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.
This year’s challenge is Mischief Makers; celebrating the 80th anniversary of comic, Beano. To take part all children need to do is to head to their local library where they will be given a collector’s map of Beanotown to keep a record of their reading. www.readingagency.org.uk
Doncaster based Swim School Swimstars and Dolphins have partnered with Clearly Scrumptious to provide healthy snacking options after swimming lessons. Scrummies are a mix of cranberries and raisins with natural fruit flavours, they help children identify fruit as a treat instead of traditional confectionary items. Woof, walk and wag show
Cusworth Hall will host its first ever dog show on Sunday July 8. Residents can enter their four legged friends into a range of fun categories including Scruffiest dog, Waggiest tail, Best dressed dog, Cutest puppy and Best Young Owner.
There will also be a selection of doggy-related stalls, activities and entertainment. The event takes place 11am to 3pm.
A fun day out not to be missed! Admission is free.
