Strictly fun for dancers

IF you’ve been bitten by the Strictly Come Dancing bug don’t be slow, slow, quick, quick, slow to join a dance class for 2011.

The SRZ School of Performing Arts has unveiled a series of dance classes - and both children and adults can take a step onto the dancefloor.

Adult ballroom dance lessons are held on Tuesdays at Askern Welfare Hall from 7pm for beginners and 7.45pm for impvrovers while every Wednesday there is a tea dance at Bawtry New Hall from 1pm to 2.45pm.

On Wednesdays, hot foot it to Wilby Carr for ballroom dance with classes from 7pm for beginners and 7.45pm for improvers while on Thursdays, there is a singing for pleasure class at Cantley Community Centre from 7.45 to 8.45pm. Children’s tap, ballet and singing classes for under 8s are held on Wednesdays at Claremont House, Askern with further classes on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Contact 01302 700441 for details.
