Squeeze and Mike + The Mechanics star Paul Carrack unveils Yorkshire concert date

Paul Carrack, the legendary Sheffield-born singer, songwriter and former frontman of Ace, Squeeze and Mike & The Mechanics is back on tour in the autumn to promote his latest acclaimed new album ‘A Different Hat’ .

The album, which features The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (arranged and conducted by David Cullen), has 12 classic songs given a new interpretation by one of the UK’s finest singers.

The 2008 album ‘I Know That Name’ received heavy airplay on BBC Radio 2 and the single ‘I Don’t Want to Hear Any More’ featured Don Henley and fellow Eagle Timothy B. Schmit, on backing vocals, has been recorded and released as a single by The Eagles too.

With a back catalogue of hits including How Long, Tempted and The Living Years, Paul’s marvellously soulful voice is known to millions around the world; he is undoubtedly a key figure in British pop history. And as his devoted fans know all too well, a Paul Carrack show is always something very special.
