Slipknot to hit the stage in Sheffield

The multi-platinum, grammy award winning group Slipknot is set to make a long awaited return to UK venues on January 16 with their Prepare For Hell tour visiting the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.

Production have released some additional previously sold out standing tickets, plus a limited number of £22 seated tickets.

Tickets purchased online at or through the ticket hotline on 0114 256 56 56 are priced £43.45 and £22 including booking fee. Tickets purchased in person from the Arena box office are priced £41.48 and £21 including booking fee.

Slipknot’s front-man Corey Taylor said: “The UK has always been very special for us. In a lot of ways, it’s where this insanity began. So, for this tour, we decided to try and hit as many places as we could – not only England, but Scotland and Wales as well. Technically Ireland is Europe, but we’re going there too. We’re coming back for the people who started this for us: that would be YOU. Prepare yourselves...Hell is coming.”

The incendiary band’s first new music in over six years, the fiercely anticipated, ‘5; The Gray Chapter’ was released on 20th October. The band’s lead single from the opus, ‘The Devil In I’ has been added to the Radio 1 Playlist and SLIPKNOT’s gradual creep on world domination has begun once more.
