Raising festive charity cash in Misterton

It was a week of festive fun when Misterton folk entered into the Christmas spirit with a series of Yuletide events.

The Dovecote Cafe’s Christmas Market ended the exciting week in the village. The annual event featured carols sung by pupils of Misterton Primary School (pictured) and dancing by the Everett-Fox School of Dance.

The Christmas Market raised £310 was raised for Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Care.

This brought to almost £2500 the money raised at the four events in the villages of Misterton and West Stockwith. Many thanks to the organisers, stallholders, and everyone who supported them.
