Friday and Saturday: Join members of the Riley School of Dance as they present A Touch Of Magic, a colourful carnival of song and dance at the Civic Theatre. Showtime is 7pm with a 2pm Saturday matinee. Tickets are £7 (£6 concessions) on 01302 342349.

Friday: York Minster organist Ben Horden will take to the keys at Doncaster Minster for the regular organ recital concert from 1.10pm. Admission is free with a retiring collection.
Saturday: Classical pianist Liam Brown will once again be entertaining shoppers in the markets area with music between 11.30am and 1.30pm. The concert will take place in the Corn Exchange Forum.

Saturday: Enjoy a spot of leisurely cricket action as Doncaster Town take on Driffield in the Yorkshire League at their Bennetthorpe base. The action gets under way at noon. Sunday: Rugby League fans should head for the Keepmoat Stadium when Doncaster will be in action against London Skolars in the Co-operative Championship 1 clash. The match gets under way at 3pm.
Friday to Sunday: All the fun of the fair will return to Bentley at this year’s three day Bentley Bonanza. Held in Bentley Park and in the pavilion, the fair will as usual feature a wide variety of rides, games and attractions. There will also be fire eaters, a bed of nails, children’s entertainment, martial arts displays, music and much more. The fair is open weekdays from 6pm until 10pm, Saturday from 2pm until 10pm, Sunday from 1pm until 7pm and Bentley Bonanza will take place on Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
Saturday: Take a peek behind the scenes at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum when Aeroventure opens up its storage areas as part of a special open day. The museum’s archives and artefacts not normally seen will be available to enjoy on a guided tour. Contact 01302 761616 for details.
Saturday: Get set for another feast of fake fun as the Fake Festival arrives in Haxey this weekend. Haxey Playing Field will play host to tributes to Oasis, Kasabian and The Killers as well as local bands. For more information and tickets visit www.fakefestivals.co.uk.
Saturday: There’s all the fun of the fair to be had at this year’s Edlington Town Council Gala. Entertainment includes disco, majorettes, Irish and local dance groups, a fairground, community and charity stalls, football tournament, food and much more. The event takes place at Yorkshire Main Sports Ground from noon.
Saturday: Mexborough School hosts a family fun day from 11am to 4pm. Attractions will include bouncy castles, face painting, dancing, sport, refreshments and much, much more.
Sunday: Come and join the Cafe Theo team who are Putting On The Ritz with a full afternoon tea including sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and cakes.
